Campus Bus Service: Georgia Tech operates a campus bus service called ‘The Stinger’ with stops close to the hotels. The service runs Monday – Friday, and is free and open to all public. From South of Atlanta (including the Atlanta Airport)

– North on I-75 or I-85 toward Atlanta. (At the airport, I-85 North)
– I-75 and I-85 will merge
– Exit at 10th Street/Georgia Tech (Exit 250)
– Left on 10th Street
– Go to the 4th traffic light (about 3/4 mile)
– Left on Hemphill Avenue
– Go to the stop sign which is at Ferst Drive
GTMI is the 4-story building at Ferst Drive and Hemphill Avenue

From North of Atlanta

– South on I-75 toward Atlanta
– Exit at 10th/14th Streets (Exit 250)
– Right on 10th Street
– Go to the 4th traffic light, about 3/4 mile

Atlanta Public Transit Directions

MARTA – Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) and Tech Trolley

  • Georgia Tech’s complimentary shuttle, the Tech Trolley, provides guests transportation arriving and departing from the Midtown MARTA transit station, the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center, and MARC. The Tech Trolley will run 5:45 a.m. until 11:30 p.m., Monday through Friday at 4 minute intervals, Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

From the Airport via Tech Trolley

– There is a MARTA station in the airport (follow signs)
– Board any train heading North
– Travel to the Midtown Marta Station (N4)
– Take the Tech Trolley to the corner of Ferst Drive and Hemphill Avenue

From the Airport via MARTA bus

– There is a MARTA station in the airport (follow signs)
– Board any train heading North
– Travel to the Arts Center Station (N5)

From Other Locations via MARTA bus

– Guide yourself to the Arts Center Station (N5)

– Travel to the Midtown Station (N4)
– Go Left on 10th Street

The conference venue is at the eastern edge of the beautiful Georgia Tech campus There are several self-guided walking routes that take you through campus to see the varied architecture and gorgeous landscaping, one of which is available here.
